THE ULTIMATE STUPID QUESTION???????

I have been listening to the many pundits trying to explain what Barack Obama really meant in this latest furor over his remarks about Rural America.

According to them, all he was saying is that those living in rural areas are not as well educated, since most had not attended college and are not atuned with the rest of the country.

My stupid question is, aren't these well educated, Ivy League whiz kids the ones that have gotten us into this war as well as most wars in the past? The same ones that have gotten us into this financial mess we are in now, as well as dozen more things that ail this country?

In my view, it should be these gun toting, bible thumping, uneducated hicks who should be looking down their noses at the well heeled elitists who have gotten us into this mess.

All those Ivy Leaguers are too smart, all right. Too smart for their own britches. Despite a person's IQ, the real danger is in how much a person overestimates their IQ. I'd rather be in business with a country bumpkin with an IQ of 70 who thinks his IQ is about 70 than with an Ivy League hotshot with an IQ of 120 who thinks his IQ is 150. Everybody in Washington thinks their a supergenius, but the average IQ is always 100, so most of them are waaaaay off.

Your right Joe, imbeciles acting like they are members of Mensa.

Don't we have a country bumpkin in office now? Maybe he attended Yale, but he certainly doesn't act or look like it. I think he sailed through on the back of his father's good name.

That's what Joe and I are saying. Low IQ's but he thinks he is a genius. If he was a country bumpkin, he shure as hell would be smarter then he is.

People that like their guns and religion aren't as uneducated as he tried to suggest. I hunt and I have a master degree. Also, people don't hunt duck with a six shooter.

The basic premise is that Baracks isn't great as he think he is. He election to office is far from a given. Especially if he keep talking like he is right now. Too many question marks.

Goon,
The problem is that nobody is asking those questions.

They don't want to ask the question for fear that Obama will be exposed as being a fraud.

Just a clarification: I didn't mean to suggest all country bumpkins had IQs of 70; I was just referring to the ones that do and have an honest accessment of it -- good folks. I'm a country bumpkin, too, ya' know, and I've got an IQ of at least 85 ;-)

I don't have a clue what my IQ is but there are a lot of smart people that cling to their guns and their god that are a smart.

This is Obama gaff like Kerry going goose hunting or wind suring. There will be many more...
